Lakhs in ad spend. Most of it walking away silently.
Distance MBA College runs distance-MBA programmes for working professionals across India. The pre-enrolment journey is counsellor-led: prospective students enquire, a counsellor calls back, fit and timing are discussed, and admissions follow. The counselling call is the conversion. Without it, the funnel stalls.
To fill the counsellors' calendars, the team was investing significantly in Google Ads and Meta campaigns, with healthy click volume arriving on a well-designed website. But the contact form was the only conversion path, and the form was performing the way contact forms quietly perform everywhere: at one to three percent of visitors on a good day, with no record of the other ninety-seven percent.
The counsellor team had time on their hands. The ad team had pressure on their numbers. And in the middle, the website was leaking serious enquiries every hour.
We were spending lakhs every month and watching most of that traffic disappear silently. We could not even tell which campaign was sending the people who actually wanted to talk.
What we built, in four moves.
Our counsellors finally had a qualified pipeline to work with. The same ad budget, the same traffic, but a completely different shape of conversation at the other end. That changed everything.
